My name is Jacqueline Hammond on the right and One Super Amazing young woman I’m lucky to be working with on the left with Henry our Helping Hound and local Dogtor. Before I begin, I wish to pay my respects and give gratitude to the extraordinary people I work with and their families. You are my tribe and my teachers and through you shines the utter and absolute truth behind love, courage, acceptance and a, commitment towards living the very best life one can on life's terms no matter what Your inspirational and my life is richer for knowing you. Prior to my life as a Disability Support Worker and NDIS provider I had a very long and enjoyable career working in Health and Welfare services. I have a passion for assisting people to reach their own personal potential. As a Social Worker and manager of health and welfare services for 20 years. I have cared for children with special needs, adults and children in mental health services, adults in geriatric services and families affected by homelessness and other disadvantaged groups. I have the absolute privilege of being part of CC & P a collective of professional women with between us 40 years plus of experience our goal is to provide families and individuals with a wraparound holistic model of care that provides a tailor-made service to meet your own personal goals in life You lead the way and we will support you to get there. Tanya Scott
Heart to Soul Healing

Tanya Scott is a case/support worker, counsellor, hypnotherapist and numerologist. She has been working in the Gold Coast human services sector since 1994. Tanya worked for ten years in the community sector as a youth worker at Nerang Youth Space, YhES House, and then as coordinator of YhES House, established, with two other Directors a company that was not for profit working with young people who had been excluded from school to attain their year 10 certificate called the Choice Project Ltd, an alternative education centre. In 2003 she worked as a youth out client counsellor at the Gold Coast Drug Council Inc at their Burleigh Location known as Mirkai providing up to 6 sessions per young person with brief interventions to assist them with reducing or eliminating their drug and/or alcohol use.In July 2019 she commenced providing individual support to a client who has an NDIS package under the psycho social stream. She holds a Diploma in Welfare and Community Services, a Bachelor of Science Applied Psychology and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Certificate in Regression therapy and is a certified lives between lives clinician.

Over the past 17 years Tanya has also worked full time in the public sector for Queensland government monitoring and assisting funded homelessness services to deliver temporary supported accommodation and provide centre based, outreach and mobile support to people on the Gold Coast who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. She has delivered her private practice part time including delivering psycho spiritual counselling, hypnotherapy including regression therapy, numerology readings and professional supervision to colleagues in the human services sector in Northern NSW. Over the past 25 years through her private, NGO and public sector roles she has a large network and can navigate the services within the community, private and government sectors to open doors for clients to access the services they require.

Tanya has a passion working with adults and young people who require assistance and support to live their best life. In July 2019 she began working part time on weekends with an adult client who had been awarded a funding package from the NDIS streamed under psycho social to provide individual support and assistance within the home and access to community and recreation.

Posting for a lovely family I work with in Coopers Plains Brisbane QLD

Looking for a compassionate person who would like to assist a friendly young lady with an intellectual disability in her daily routines and care. She is mobile and verbal and also employed as a morning volunteer worker 5 mornings per week. Her most important criteria is that the person that works with her cares for her.

We are looking for a Support Worker who has enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and be educated about her condition so as to understand what is needed in terms of service delivery styles and be consistent to follow up on any plans or promises made.

Hours at this stage would be Monday 12noon to Tues 9.30am but may increase at times to cover other shifts so flexibility would be appreciated.

Duties
Support in daily care and time management.
Assistance in preparing meals.
Cleaning and assistance with looking after plants/herbs.
Driving her to and from daily Activities, Appointments and or Exercise classes.
Going for walks regularly and engaging in other activities with her as required.
Hours
Monday 12 noon to Tuesday 9.30am with passive sleepover, but may increase to two days in a row if additional support is required. Some flexibility is highly appreciated as other shifts at time require filling.

First Aid
Prof indemnity & public liability insurance
Full Qld Driver's licence,
Comprehensive Car Insurance
Own Vehicle essential.
Qld Blue Card & Yellow Card Pref.
Full National Police Certificate
Qualifications or experience in the area of Health and/or Disability preferred.
Non-smoker
has a willingness not to snack while at work outside meal times.
