Last Friday, on World Diabetes Day, I was excited to see the World Health Organisation release its first global guidelines for managing diabetes in pregnancy. This is a major milestone and an important step forward, offering much-needed direction to help us tackle this growing challenge and improve outcomes for both mothers and their babies.
