Due to weather damage, we have had to close the clinic for Monday the March 10. 😔

Please be advised, all sessions and clinic access will be cancelled.

Whilst we work to rectify this as soon as possible, all clients with standing bookings for Monday March 10 are being contacted to reschedule your treatment.

As cyclone Alfred moves towards the Queensland coast and the weather is expected to deteriorate over the coming 24-36 hours. We have made the decision to close the clinic from 5 pm today until Monday, March 10.

Please be advised all sessions and clinic access will be cancelled to ensure the safety of our staff and clientele.

Meet Tevan!

Tevan is a passionate Physiotherapist who revels in all things sport! Hailing from Vancouver in Canada, Tevan is a welcome addition to the TMS physiotherapy team and yet again strengthens the TMS team.
⚽️🏈🏀⚾️🏉
Away from the physio bed, you’ll find Tevan is fast becoming the TMS punter’s best friend. Keeping up-to-date with the latest NBA, NFL, MLB and EPL games, or following the Lions and Broncos (when he wants to stay in this time-zone). If by luck there are no games on, you’ll find Tevan checking out the local cafes, (trying) to stick to his New Years resolutions or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

Meet Tarj 👋🏼

A hard-working young physio, Tarj is taking care of the QAFLW UQ women’s program along side Kyle for 2025.

Another AFL tragic, Tarj comes to TMS with a wealth of experience in the Aussie Rules space through his own playing career at the Mt Gravatt Vultures and couch coaching his beloved Hawthorn Hawks. It has even been rumoured leave’s already lodged for the AFL grand final this year… and next… 🫣🏆 😅

Outside the clinic, Tarj enjoys mimicking a gazelle in full stride (pictured), spending time at the beach searching for the perfect wave or hitting the gym to shift some tin.

👋🏼 MEET HAYDEN!

Hayden comes to TMS as an established EP, adding to the knowledge and expertise of the exercise team. Starting at the back end of last year, Hayden has hit the ground running, taking charge of the UQ AFC mens program and a full clinic load.
🏋🏻‍♂️🥋🏃🏻‍♂️
Outside of TMS you’ll find Hayden at the Iron Bar (lifting weights), submitting some bloke in BJJ or occasionally masquerading as a runner. If you cant find Hayden out and about, you’ll find him perfectly content enjoying some downtime in front of the TV, doing his best impression of a ‘couch potato’.

Flashback to last month when our very own traveled to Melbourne for the 19th World congress on Menopuase.

Kim spent the weekend extending her knowledge and learning about all the research and progress being made in better understanding and assisting each woman’s experience.

A very individualised experience, menopause can have a profound effect on women. From the effect menopause has on your bones and muscles - to your metabolic health and heart.. exercise and our understanding of a multidisciplinary approach, can be integral to the support, confidence and understanding for women as they navigate these changes.

Battling a shoulder injury leading into the event, Josh continued to work hard and put everything he could into getting on the blocks - and his efforts paid off taking home one gold, two silvers and two bronze for his efforts.
