Visitors can meet our CEO/Director of Nursing, take a guided tour of the facility, and gain a clear understanding of what to expect before their procedure. Our team is committed to ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and comfortable throughout their surgical journey.

How to Reduce the Risk of Blood Clots After Surgery

Your health and safety matter. Here are some important steps to help prevent blood clots during your recovery:
🔹 Complete your health history before admission – This helps us identify any previous clots or risk factors early.
🔹 Follow your prevention plan – You may be prescribed compression devices or medication based on your individual needs.
🔹 Move early and often – Gentle movement and leg exercises while sitting or lying down are essential.
🔹 Know the warning signs – Pain, tenderness, or swelling in your legs, shortness of breath, or chest pain should never be ignored. Report these symptoms immediately to your nurse or doctor.

Your discharge paperwork will include any at-home requirements for you and your GP.
