Dr Maisha Rahman joins Family Plus Medical Practice with broad experience across rural and metropolitan Victoria and Queensland. Raised in regional Queensland, she understands the value of accessible, community-focused care.
She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2019 and obtained specialist registration in 2026. Dr Maisha began her medical career at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and has since worked in clinics across Melbourne and Central Queensland, developing a well-rounded skill set in both hospital and general practice settings.
Dr Maisha has particular interests in Women’s Health, including Implanon insertions, cervical screening and menopause management. She also provides iron infusions and comprehensive care in Child Health, Mental Health and Chronic Disease Management. She is committed to delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care and building long-term relationships with her patients.
