🤍Just over a week until we begin our 6 Week Online Grief Ritual Container 🤍

Since holding our in-person Grief Rituals for the past two years, Cat and I are feeling the call to journey deeper and for a longer period of time with women in their grief… whic means you can join us now from whatever lands you’re on!

We begin September 1st and will gather each Monday evening at 7pm AST.

We have limited spaces in this container to maintain intimacy and depth.

Exchange is $250Au or $220 for returning grief tenders.

This includes 6x 1.5 calls and a support group thread to assist in integration and deepening.

Louis lives and works in the city and hadn’t had a break for ages. He shared that his intention was to “spend the weekend reading, journalling and just generally being present in nature”. I’m grateful that Feathertail attracts like-hearted folk with strong intentions and that in return, they are gifted exactly what they need 🏡💚🌳

I love that Feathertail keeps calling in those that need a simple weekend of nature time. For this guest, he was looking for a quiet peaceful place “to do some healing and process some stuff”. I was reminded of these words today from one of my favourite poems,
From a poet that .bednarski and I often quote in our Grief Rituals…

Today, I felt the truth here yet again.
What a paradox (and privilege!) it is to experience the challenges and blessings that come with living a sentient life.
In these times, as I return again and again to nature,
I am reminded that she is my greatest healer,
Like a giant hug full of warmth and light, she is always there to hold me.
… and that’s how I felt here recently,
In the afternoon light a week before solstice,
Walking up the backyard to Mermaid Mountain,
Tired and recharged all at once,
I felt grateful for these lands that welcome me,
Over and over and over again.
A fierce and fiery embrace…
Of endless love and expansive possibility.

I love receiving photos from my Airbnb guests of how they connect to Feathertail. This one came to me with the title ‘magic’ and some poetry that reflected our shared conversations around the beauty of going on unexpected journeys in our life. Maybe you can relate?

I see that straight journeys
are a rare exception
So maybe it is OK
that mine is no different
On the map of my life
the line sometimes goes sideways
pivots
and spirals off in any number of directions and patterns
Unsettling to be sure
but perhaps there is a rightness, too
A purpose hidden within the chaos...

This recent review from Angela said a lot in only a few words… a place for her to BE exactly as she needed to. I love that Feathertail supports people to remember themselves amongst the busyness of life... to release and receive… and to feel their aliveness again.
