It might feel awkward, but itโ€™s worth it.

Cervical screening helps detect changes early, before cancer develops.

By raising awareness and supporting access to screening, we can protect more lives.

Parents and caregivers, watch for HPV vaccination info and consent forms coming home from school this year.

Please check their school bag regularly. Returning the forms ensures your child can participate in the school vaccination program. The HPV vaccine is safe, effective, and FREE for all girls and boys 12 and over, helping protect against HPV-related cancers later in life. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ’› Thank you, Australia! As Cervical Cancer Awareness Week ends, we want to celebrate everyone whoโ€™s hosted, donated, shared, or simply started a conversation.

Together, weโ€™ve raised awareness, empowered women, and taken another step toward a future free from cervical cancer. Letโ€™s keep that momentum going all year round.

Behind every statistic is a face, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard. The Faces of Cervical Cancer stories shine a light on the bravery and resilience of women across Australia whoโ€™ve faced cervical cancer head-on. ๐Ÿ’›

Their stories inspire hope and remind us why awareness and early detection are so vital. Take a few minutes today to read and share one โ€” it could encourage someone to book their screening.

๐ŸŽ‰ Itโ€™s here! Cervical Cancer Awareness Week is our time to come together as a community, share important messages, and support women across Australia. Every post shared, every conversation started, and every screening booked makes a difference.

Letโ€™s unite to make cervical cancer history by raising awareness about screening, vaccination, and the incredible support available through ACCF. Together, we can turn knowledge into action. ๐Ÿ’›

As we approach Cervical Cancer Awareness Week, hereโ€™s how you can protect yourself and spread the word:

โ€ข Get vaccinated: One (1) free dose of the HPV vaccine is available for all young people under 25 years, male and female.

โ€ข Get screened: Cervical screening tests every five (5) years for women and those with a cervix aged 25โ€“74.

โ€ข Choose your method: You can have your doctor or nurse carry out your screening test, or you can self-collectโ€”a comfortable and empowering option to discuss with your healthcare provider.
โ€ข Raise money to support women with cervical cancer by having a โ€œGirlโ€™s Night inโ€

Together, we can raise awareness and fund essential support through Orange Hearts Financial Support for women on a cervical cancer journey.

Nearly 9 in 10 people will have HPV at some point in their lives, but the good news is that cervical cancer is almost entirely preventable through vaccination and screening. ๐Ÿ’œ

By staying informed and sharing what we know, we can protect ourselves and the people we love. Prevention is powerful โ€” and together, we can make cervical cancer history.
