Noticing fine lines around your eyes?

Those little lines at the corners of the eyes, commonly known as crow’s feet, are a natural part of ageing. They’re often caused by repeated facial expressions, sun exposure, and gradual loss of skin elasticity over time.

While crow’s feet are completely normal, some people choose to explore treatment options to soften their appearance. A qualified dermatologist can assess your skin and recommend evidence-based strategies that align with your goals. These may include targeted skincare, medical-grade treatments, or skin rejuvenation options.

Thinking about skin confidence? Start with expert advice.

What to Expect:
Your teenage years are a time of major hormonal changes. This often leads to increased oil production, blocked pores, and breakouts - commonly on the face, chest, or back. You might also notice blackheads, whiteheads, and inflammatory acne.

What to Do:
✅ Use a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser daily.
✅ Avoid harsh scrubs as they can irritate acne-prone skin.
✅ Use a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser.
✅ Spot treatments containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid may help.

🚫 Don’t pick or squeeze spots as this increases the risk of scarring.

For moderate to severe acne, speak with your GP or a dermatologist.

Maintaining Skin Health:
Start simple and stick to it. Focus on consistency and getting into the habit of wearing SPF daily, even if acne is your main concern.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes red, scaly plaques — often appearing on the scalp, elbows, knees, or lower back. It occurs when the skin cells multiply too quickly, leading to thickened, inflamed areas.

Psoriasis may be triggered or worsened by:
• Stress
• Illness or infection
• Skin injury
• Cold weather
• Certain medications

While there’s no cure, psoriasis can be effectively managed with the right treatment plan. Options may include topical therapies, phototherapy, oral medications, or biologic treatments — depending on severity and impact.

👨🏽‍⚕️ A dermatologist can help you find the right approach to reduce flares, relieve discomfort, and improve skin health.
