🌍 International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) – 3 December 🌍

IDPwD is a United Nations day observed worldwide to promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disability.

This year’s theme is:
“Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”

It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in removing barriers—physical, technological, and attitudinal—and creating equal opportunities for everyone.

In Australia, IDPwD brings together government, schools, businesses, and communities to build an inclusive society for the 5.5 million Australians with disability.
