Multicap is excited to be part of the Logan RDE - Regional Disability Expo on Thursday 5 March 2026.
We’ll be at the event to meet people living with disability, carers, support workers and local providers and to share how our disability support services across Queensland and NSW help people build independence, connect with community and explore opportunities.

Recently, we welcomed the team from Austbrokers Comsure for a volunteer day with Multicap.

Their involvement went beyond lending a helping hand. By spending time alongside the people we support, they contributed to meaningful social connection, shared experiences and moments of genuine engagement. Opportunities like these help build confidence, strengthen community inclusion and create positive, lasting memories.

Corporate volunteering plays an important role in expanding opportunities for people with disability to connect with the wider community in practical and empowering ways.

We’re proud to share that long-time Monte Lupo artist Peter Hughes is opening a new exhibition this weekend at Under the Greenwood Tree, Tamborine Mountain.

Peter has worked at Monte Lupo Arts for 25 years and is a Brisbane-based self-taught painter and ceramicist. His exhibition, “Iconic buildings from my Tamborine Mountain travels,” features vibrant interpretations of local architecture inspired by his travels.

Peter was a 2024 finalist in the Darling Portrait Prize at the Australian Portrait Gallery and has exhibited nationally and internationally.

Exhibition Opening
- Saturday 14 February from 3pm
- Shop 4 / 1–3 Main Street, Tamborine Mountain
- The exhibition continues until 12 March 2026.

Supporting 7 supported employees, Laundretto delivers 8,000 items laundered monthly and provides 83 hours of employment each week, empowering team members to build transferable skills in customer service, laundry processes, and logistics.

Through partnerships like One Harvest, our employees also launder and deliver around 300 food‑safe compliant coats daily, opening new pathways and expanding skills across our workforce.

Serving over 20,000 beverages annually, Monte Lupo provides 354 employment hours weekly, is currently empowering 27 supported team members to grow and thrive. Our assisted employees learn hands-on skills in coffee making, customer service, meal preparation, money handling, food delivery, baking, and safety here at our cafe and coffee carts.
