SERVICE UPDATE📣

After much anticipation, we've finally gotten our hands on the keys to our new space in Coorparoo today! That means that groups this week are CANCELLED and there will be NO SERVICE DELIVERY for the remainder of this week, however you are welcome to attend our space at Peach Tree Brisbane North or Peach Tree Gold Coast if you'd like some peer support.

We will be running SPP from the new space starting next week and will post further updates later in the week about the commencement of our peer support groups.

Once again, we really appreciate your patience and can't wait to welcome you to our new home!

Rhiannah combines her qualifications in naturopathy, counselling and birth cartography with her lived experience of two traumatic births to offer a unique, holistic approach to healing and birth preparation.

In this workshop, she'll be sharing her REBIRTH Methodology - helping you to move from fear to confidence through nervous system regulation, body restoration, and empowered birth preparation.

This isn't your typical birth class - it's trauma-informed healing that gets to the root of why you feel unsafe in your bodies after difficult birth experiences.

Thanks to all the mums who joined us this morning for our Harmony Week Morning Tea 🌏🧡

It was a great opportunity to discuss what we loved about our own cultures and countries, what we loved about Australia and learn how to say hello in all our native tongues (Dia Duit=Irish, Hola=Spanish, Hallo=German, G'day=Aussie).

The big resounding reason why most of us love Australia was because it's so multicultural, you can walk down the street and meet people from so many different parts of the world... and basically try every cuisine under the sun!

Each of us bring our own beautifully rich cultural identities and it creates such a wonderful melting pot in group and for that we are so grateful!

The Shark Cage® program is relevant for any woman who has experienced an abusive relationship in their lifetime, and has a child 5 or under and/or is currently pregnant.
Shark Cage® can:
✅ Increase your capacity to set boundaries
✅ Improve your assertive communication skills
✅ Increase the awareness of the impacts of abuse
✅ Decrease any feelings of self-blame or victim blaming
✅ Increase your capacity for self-care & kindness to themselves
✅ Increase connection to your feelings and body
✅ Increase your sense of self worth
✅ Increase belief in your entitlement to basic human rights
✅ Increase their ability to recognise a potentially abusive or exploitative person

Hi South Brisbane Peaches🍑

We just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your ongoing patience whilst finalise the lease for our new location.

We appreciate that for a lot of you, Peach Tree is a massive part of your village and a safe space for you to gather and we never take for granted that you choose to attend our service when you're at your most vulnerable.

Fingers crossed we will have an exciting update for you next week with our new location information 🤞📣

In the meantime, we have the below groups on next week;
- Just Peachy Tue 17th @ 9.30-11am (it's also St. Patricks day so feel free to wear green ☘️)
- Harmony Week morning tea Thu 19th @ 11am-12pm
- Just Peachy Thu 19th @ 11am-12.30pm
(on Thu, you are welcome to pop between the different morning tea and peer support group and remember they are being held at the meeting rooms downstairs at BULIMBA LIBRARY)

Harmony Week Morning Tea🍑🧡🌏

Please join us for a Morning Tea next Thursday 19th March in celebration of Harmony Week. We want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all the different cultures we have amongst the parents who use our service.

Food will be provided but please feel free to bring a plate of your local cuisine, wear traditional clothing, create a playlist that showcases your culture or just wear something orange!

Timetable Change🍑

Whilst we are temporarily running groups out of Bulimba library, we have cancelled our Wednesday morning group and Just Peachy will now run from 9.30-11am on a Tuesday and Thursday.

TEMPORARY LOCATION CHANGE 🍑

Commencing Wed 25th Feb, groups will run out of Bulimba Library (219 Oxford St) until further notice. We are still running a limited timetable so Just Peachy will run from 9.30-11am on a Tue & Wed and for mums registered for our current round of the Sunshine Parenting Program, group will run on Tue from 12-2pm.

Book into group if you can but if you forget, you are still more than welcome to join us.
