Another fun Social Rec today!

A relaxing picnic in a surprisingly cool summers day at Kalinga Park on Clayfield, feasting on some delicious Christmas Day leftovers 🎄🥙🥗🍗

We played Uno and went for a walk around the parkland 🚶‍♂️🥾🧩🃏

At the end of the day, we finished up by getting some yummy Ice Cream 🍦🍨!!!!

🎄 ✨ Christmas lunch magic at Stepping Stone North ✨🎄

Today we shared a beautiful Christmas lunch filled with connection, community and plenty of festive cheer 🩵

A huge thank you to our wonderful supporters who helped make this day so special - Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust, Trent Dalton author and QBD Books. Your generosity truly made this day possible 🙏

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal by Pure Catering including confit chicken, honey mustard shaved ham, green bean and heirloom tomato salad , the most amazing potato salad and fresh bread rolls. Yum! 😍

There was Christmas music 🎶, some fun (but hard!) Christmas trivia, lots of laughs and everyone went home with a festive goody bag 🎁

A special shout out to Bart Mellish MP who also popped in with some very yummy chocolates 🍫 - thank you 🙏

Stepping Stone North would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period.🎄

🥗We will be open tomorrow to share a lovely lunch on Christmas Day 10:30am-2:30pm and closed Boxing Day.

Re-opening again on Saturday for a picnic together at Kalinga Park. 10:00am - 3:00pm ⚽🧺

🎉 We’d like to make a huge shout out to Will and his team at Rode meats who have so kindly and generously donated 2 Christmas leg hams to our Clubhouse for our members this Christmas 🎄🎅

As we come to the end of the year & prepare for Christmas Day lunch at Clubhouse, we have been reflecting on some of the highlights of the year. One of our big highlights was the Night to Nourish Gala Fundraiser.🕺💃😃

🎄🎅🌟🎄🎅🌟🎄🎅🌟🎄🎅🌟

🎶 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎶

We had such an amazing night at Social Rec last night! A great time was had by all! Connection, community, friendship, fun and lots of laughs 🎉

We all hopped in to the Steps Staria and started on our roadtrip adventures for the night! 🚙

Firstly we went to Kangaroo Point. Although the view was amazing it was decided it was way too hot for our BBQ so off to Southbank we went! We cooked up a storm and enjoyed our dinner. 🌭

After dinner we perused the markets, went giant elf spotting and enjoyed icecream! 🍦

We had researched some houses with the best Christmas Light displays around the Northside of Brisbane so all hopped back in the Staria to start our Christmas Lights tour. We participated in some car pool karoake and enjoyed singing along together to a range of Christmas Carols🎄💡

From Daisy St, Grange, to Boondall and (not intentionally) saving the best til last Sugarloaf St, Wavell Heights! The light displays were brilliant. We appreciated the time and effort each house had put in to them!

🙏 A huge thank you to Tash for being our awesome chauffeur for the night 🙏

🎄 Helen - the bbq and company. The Christmas lights were lovely. Tash was an awesome driver.

🎄Anna - I love socialising with other members. Tash did a great job driving us. The Best houses were saved for last. Sugarloaf St was A+

🎄 JSN - My favorite lights were the 3 I saw on Sugarloaf St, Wavell Heights

Today’s social Rec was Ten Pin Bowling 🎳at Strathpine followed by a BBQ 🌭lunch at Pine Rivers Park.
Matthew enjoyed the day, Glenn enjoyed relaxing and having fun, Anna had fun ten pin bowling with everyone encouraging each other, Lohnêt enjoyed everyone’s enthusiasm, Miranda enjoyed laughing at herself and broke some nails in the process. Great to see good smiles and having a good laugh 😆 Another great social rec!!

🎄What an awesome Christmas Party we had last week on December 5!!! 🎅🎅

🎄We had a fun time setting up the Christmas decorations and lights, and they all looked incredible on the night! 🚦🎄
We played games such as Bocchi and Jenga in the afternoon, and then ate plenty of delicious food and danced into the night 💃🕺

🎄Such an amazing night could never have been possible without our incredible supporters!

🎄A huge thank you to the Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust for the generous grant provided, this made sure that it was a night full of connection, community, and belonging. We know that Christmas parties can be daunting, however at Clubhouse, members let us know they felt accepted and respected in such an inclusive community.

🎄 Thank you to Pure Catering for catering the evening, the food was all delicious! 🍇🧀🌯🍎🍏

Thanks again to everyone involved in making this night so fun and memorable! 🤩🥳
