In this patient portal article, I breaks it down in a way that’s easy to understand but still gives you all the important details. Read the full article via the link ➡️ https://tinyurl.com/4mywbm5r

THE NON-LINEAR NATURE OF HEALING: Healing isn't always linear. You might experience great days followed by uncomfortable ones - this is completely normal after major plastic surgery procedures.
Your body is adapting to significant anatomical changes, and this adjustment period involves natural fluctuations in comfort, swelling, and energy levels. These variations don't indicate complications; they reflect normal healing physiology.
Understanding this non-linear pattern helps patients avoid unnecessary concern during recovery. Some days will feel better than others, and that's expected.
I discuss this important concept in my latest blog post, along with strategies for managing the emotional aspects of recovery. Knowledge about normal healing patterns reduces anxiety and helps patients stay focused on their long-term results.

This particular patient presented with tuberous breast, a condition that occurs when breast tissue doesn’t grow as expected during puberty.
A mammaplasty is a reconstructive procedure that alters the size or contour of the female breast and it may address the tuberous breast condition.
The mammaplasty was also able to address a breast asymmetry the patient was experiencing and her results can be seen both before (image on the left) and then nine months post-operatively.
