This 33-year-old patient presented with tuberous breast, a condition that occurs when breast tissue doesn’t grow as expected during puberty.
A mammaplasty is a reconstructive procedure that alters the size or contour of the female breast and it may address the tuberous breast condition.
The mammaplasty was also able to address a breast asymmetry the patient was experiencing and her results can be seen both before (image on the left) and then nine months post-operatively.
