Routine can be more powerful than we realise.
For many Veterans, life in service was built around structure and discipline — routines that supported both mental and physical strength. After service, that structure can be harder to maintain, but rebuilding routines can help restore balance, focus, and wellbeing.
Simple daily habits like regular exercise, consistent sleep, scheduled meals, or even taking a moment for reflection can have a big impact on your energy, mood, and overall health. Even small routines, repeated consistently, provide stability in times of uncertainty and a sense of control over your wellbeing.
Reconnect with the rhythm of life that supports you, and remember: small steps can lead to meaningful change over time.
