We are a Pilates and Yoga studio of belonging and peace, where we honour and serve individuals who are in a season of their lives where their physical health and emotional wellbeing needs to be nurtured. The class experience at Inna Essence is one of shared responsibility; as instructors we see the importance of understanding our clients’ life-experience. Our observational skills, active listening, deep connection and maintaining complete presence are non-negotiables. At Inna Essence, we are setting our clients up to experience optimal movement and to awaken awareness within their body through Pilates and Yoga. We teach in a way where there is no separation between us and the physical and emotional class experience. It is our deepest desire that our members and visitors feel that our classes, instructors and studio create significant change and positivity within their life. If someone in your life was struggling with their mental health… would you know how to respond?

Our Mental Health First Aid Course is an internationally recognised, evidence-based training designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to support an adult experiencing a mental health problem or crisis - until professional help is available or the situation resolves.

Facilitated by Dr Matthew Warren-James, this practical course will guide you through how to:

🤍 Recognise early signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions
🤍 Have supportive, evidence-based conversations
🤍 Respond appropriately in crisis situations
🤍 Understand risk factors, impacts and treatment options
🤍 Look after your own wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider

This course is ideal for parents, teachers, workplace leaders, carers, and anyone who wants to feel more confident supporting others.

All participants receive a Certification of Completion from Mental Health First Aid Australia.

School holidays are here, and we know how important it is to keep your routine going while the kids are home. At Inna Essence, you don’t have to miss out on your movement - your little ones are always welcome in our Child Friendly Classes. ❤️

This Easter break, come as you are, bring the kids, and move together in a supportive, relaxed studio environment.

While some studios may ask you to pause after your first trimester, our approach is different. Our instructors are trained in pre- and post-natal Pilates, allowing us to safely guide and support you through every stage of your pregnancy with thoughtful modifications and care.

💪✨ March Studio Theme Wrap-Up - Essence of Strength ✨💪

As March comes to a close, we’ve been celebrating Essence of Strength - not just physical strength, but the emotional and energetic strength that supports us every day.

This month, we loved exploring the original mat repertoire of Joseph Pilates, sharing 33 of his foundational exercises with our community. It’s been so special to see these movements come to life - from the essential foundations, to the building blocks of the intermediate repertoire, right through to the strong (and often elegant) advanced repertoire.

One of the most beautiful things about the mat series is its accessibility - powerful, purposeful movement that doesn’t require specialised studio equipment. Just you, your mat, and your commitment to showing up.

It’s been incredible to witness how inclusive Pilates truly is - no matter your starting point, strength or fitness level. And how rewarding it feels as you build strength, control and stamina over time. Our bodies really are quite amazing. 💜

We also loved coming together on International Women’s Day, sharing connection, conversation and celebrating the strength of our community - it was such a special reminder of the power of support and solidarity. 🤍

And as the month unfolded, our 6 Week Meditation for Beginners course began - exploring the quieter side of strength, and the power of stillness, awareness and presence.

Thank you to our beautiful community for showing up, moving with intention, and embracing strength in all its forms this month. 💫

As we step into a new theme, we carry this strength with us - in every movement, every breath, and every moment.
