We educate, inspire and prepare GPs to deliver quality primary care outcomes

General Practice Training Queensland (GPTQ) is a leading vocational education and training provider for doctors training to become General Practitioners. Under contract with the Australian Government Department of Health we deliver the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) Program, working with a network of committed medical training practices across southeast Queensland to provide an apprenticeship-style training environment, complete with hands-on experience and instruction, that supports GP Registrars to become outstanding GPs. We are committed to working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure we maintain excellence and sustainability for General Practice training in Queensland.
