There are many talented hair replacement artists on TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms showcasing impressive client transformations. However, many of these systems are fitted at 100% density or less, which often means they only last one to three months and are essentially disposable.
At Replique in Brisbane and Sydney, we typically recommend a density of 120% to 130%. This provides a natural appearance while offering greater durability and longevity. Keep in mind that each time you wash your hair or run your fingers through it, there’s a chance a strand may shed—so the more hair in the system, the longer it’s likely to last.
