Creatine isn’t just for the gym — it’s fuel for your brain too.

Your brain runs on energy. Creatine helps your cells produce ATP (your body’s energy source), which can support:

• Clearer thinking
• Better memory
• Improved focus
• More mental stamina under stress

It may also support mood, muscle strength, and healthy ageing — especially for women as we get older.

Simple. Researched. Powerful.

3–5g of creatine monohydrate daily is what most studies use.

Not hype. Just better cellular energy.
Where it may be most helpful:
• Prevention
• Supporting brain resilience as we age
• Combined with exercise and good nutrition

If you’re thinking about it for someone specific — especially older adults or someone on multiple medications — it’s important they speak with their doctor first.

I started watching Life with Kate YouTube clips these past few weeks… and honestly, they’ve been life-changing.
Something about the way Kate speaks — gently, honestly — it slows you down. It reminds you that you’re not broken, you’re just human.

In the middle of busy days, grief, healing, and trying to hold it all together… those short clips became little pauses. Little reminders to breathe, to soften, to trust life again.

Sometimes it’s one sentence that lands right where you need it. And suddenly, things feel lighter. Clearer. More hopeful.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or searching for meaning… this might be your sign to watch.

My Burnt Toast Moment

I drove past my TCM doctor for years.
Literally years.

Same street. Same sign. Never noticed. Never stopped.

Then one day — when I definitely felt like I didn’t have time — I pulled in nearby to pick something up for a friend.
I remember thinking, I shouldn’t be stopping… I’m already stretched.

And boom.
There they were.

At the exact moment I’d been quietly searching for a different direction.
For support.
For something that felt more aligned.

That small “detour” — the one that felt inconvenient — ended up being one of the best decisions I never planned.

Such a classic burnt toast moment.
A tiny delay.
A change in rhythm.
A gentle nudge from life saying, this way.

It makes me wonder how often we rush past what’s meant for us… because we think we’re too busy to stop.

Have you ever had one of those moments? ✨
Where the interruption turned out to be the gift?

Funny how a man crunching can send your blood pressure through the roof…
Is it menopause?
Is it years of marriage?
Or is it inherited trauma? 😅

My dad crunched everything.
I can still hear my mum sighing,
“Oh George…”

Fast forward and now my husband has a bowl of nuts every single morning.
CRUNCH. PAUSE. CRUNCH.

So here I am…
Finding my zen.
Practising deep breathing.
Questioning my life choices. 🧘‍♀️

Tell me I’m not alone…
What harmless habit makes you see red?

Life has a funny way of showing us abundance — not always in the form we expect, and not always in something we know how to use.

This season it’s Davidson’s plums. Buckets of them. More than I could ever need, and if I’m honest… I don’t know the first thing about turning them into jam. But someone else does. And watching them light up when I hand over a box of fruit feels just as rich as if I’d made something myself.

Abundance isn’t only about keeping, mastering, or consuming. Sometimes it’s about recognising this isn’t mine to hold — it’s mine to pass on.

There’s a quiet joy in that kind of giving. A fullness that doesn’t come from receiving more, but from letting life flow through you to where it’s meant to go.

Today, abundance looks like plum-stained hands, shared harvests, and the reminder that generosity can be just as nourishing as getting exactly what you asked for.

I once wrote a dream on an old website — one day I’ll own a little plot of land where I can grow flowers.
No plan. No timeline. Just a quiet wish typed into the universe.

Four years ago… it happened.
We bought a little place in Tenterfield 🌱

Now, in my downtime — when I’m not marrying loved-up couples — you’ll find me here, hands in the soil, growing dahlias instead of timelines and to-do lists 🌸

The temperature is perfect.
The people are genuinely lovely.
The peace and quiet? A full nervous-system exhale.

Turns out some dreams don’t shout.
They just wait patiently until you’re ready to live them.
The best part is giving them to people I love ♥️

Imagine calling work and saying, “I’m well today… too well to come in.”
Not sick. Not burnt out. Just choosing life for a moment.

A day to breathe deeper, move slower, laugh longer.
To sit in the sun, drink your coffee while it’s hot, and remember that being well is reason enough to pause.

What if rest wasn’t only for when we’re broken — but also when we’re whole?
Calling in well might just be the healthiest thing we ever do.
Thanks to my gal pals Leanne and Chrissy for having a ‘well’ day off together xx

Little Red Socks

I decided to start this page - for anyone interested in all of the new and interesting information I am learning while on my cancer filled journey. I truly thought I had seen and heard everything while I watched my mother fight cancer for 16 years but now I have information on both sides - the medical and the natural. I have decided to go natural instead of chemo and Tamoxifen and hope to inspire you along the way. “Little Red Socks" title came from these little red socks they give out in hospital and how they touched me in ways I never thought possible.
