Now open: submissions & nominations for QMIHSC 2026 🚨

Are you ready to share your work and be recognised on the industry stage? The Queensland Mining Industry Health and Safety Conference (QMIHSC) is now accepting:

🌟 Call for Abstracts
We invite submissions showcasing research, projects, innovations and practical experience across the resources sector.
Successful authors will present an oral (20 or 35 minutes incl. Q&A) on Tuesday and Wednesday of the conference.

🌟 Safety Innovation Award
Calling for innovative safety and occupational health solutions from across the Australian resources industry.
Finalists will present their innovation in a 10-minute session to delegates and a judging panel.

🌟 Health Innovation Award
Nominate a program that is advancing health outcomes in the Queensland resources industry.

🌟 QMIHSC Legends Award
Recognising individuals who have made outstanding and lasting contributions to health and safety in the Queensland mining industry.
To nominate, email qmihsc@expertevents.com.au with the subject line “2026 Legends Award Nomination” and include nominee and nominator details, achievements, and reasons for nomination.
