Stroudy is pleased to welcome that he and his wife Sarah had a beautiful baby GIRL recently named Coco 🥥

Both Mum and Bub are doing great and Jed is loving having a baby sister in the mix.

Stroudy is back into the swing of things with work as of this week.

Steve recently attended the Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Boot Camp presented by Carlo Ammendolia at Macquarie University. Training focused on the evidence-based assessment and management of lumbar spinal stenosis.

The program emphasised practical, exercise-based strategies and patient education designed to improve function and quality of life for people living with spinal stenosis — a condition where narrowing of the spinal canal in the lower back places pressure on the nerves, often causing leg pain, weakness and difficulty walking.

We’re excited to bring this program to Trident Movement and continue delivering high-quality, research-informed care to our community.

Nick got his dream gig of travelling overseas to treat horses and humans.
Alana was welcomed and started her business out of our space and is thriving.
Steve started his PhD and is smashing life as a researcher.
Jules and Jess continue to bring the lols with their tik tok dances and nutrition facts.
Lauren kept bringing the bubbly energy all year.

Great few days at the ANZMUSC Annual Scientific Meeting in Brisbane!

Steve had the privilege of presenting preliminary results from his first PhD research project titled:

“Associations between clinician characteristics and the effectiveness of interventions for low back pain: a systematic review and meta-analysis.”

A fantastic opportunity to share findings, connect with colleagues, and stay up to date with the latest research in musculoskeletal care.

Steve attended the Sydney Spinal Symposium, a fantastic event bringing together spine pain researchers and clinicians from across Australia.

His research — “Association between clinician characteristics and the effectiveness of interventions for low back pain: a systematic review and meta-analysis” — was selected for a poster presentation. 👏

A great day spent sharing ideas, learning, and connecting with colleagues passionate about improving spine care. 🧠

Buzzing from an epic day with tonnes of atmosphere and support on course.

So amazing to see everyone out there getting after it and being part of history.

Huge mention to Steve who committed to the marathon on 2 days notice. (Something we would never recommmend but yolo 😂)

What’s Laura been up to?

1️⃣Laura was recently named one of 16 researchers to be listed as a CARL fellow. This has lead to her recently travelling to Denmark to assist in research to further progress the field of Chiropractic and musculoskeletal health.

2️⃣She’ll next head to Switzerland for a quick trip to further convene with researchers there.

3️⃣She has also been involved locally with a research study ConnecTBack trial aiming to integrate GP and allied health care integration into the management of low back pain. The study attempts to improve patient outcomes, save costs and improve the health system whilst reducing the burden on GP’s.

Busy times for her currently all whilst managing her case load at Trident.

Keep an eye out for her presentation on adolescents and spinal pain in the coming months.
