Hi Everyone 👋

Mells Care is growing and we’re currently looking for casual Support Workers to join our team supporting participants on Brisbane’s north side.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, compassionate and genuinely passionate about helping others. While experience in the disability sector is great, it’s not essential. We’re also open to people who are new to the industry but have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

This could include people who:
• Have supported a family member with a disability
• Are looking to start a meaningful career in the sector
• Are seeking flexible work or a second income

What you’ll need:
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Driver’s licence, registered vehicle and comprehensive insurance
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts

What we offer:
• $43.23/hr casual rate (SCHADS Award)
• Quick start following interview
• Ongoing training through our online training partner

🌿 Casual Lawn & Maintenance Worker – Mells Care 🌿

We're looking for someone who enjoys being outdoors and takes pride in a tidy yard. This role is all about helping our participants keep their yards safe, tidy and welcoming.

It's hands-on, practical, outdoors and perfect for someone who could be looking for:
🌿Recent school leaver looking for a start
🌿Casual hours to fit around study or another job
🌿A way to earn a little extra while doing meaningful work
🌿A low-commitment role where you can still make a difference

You don't need to be a professional gardener or landscaper... we are looking for someone with reliability, strong communication skills, flexibility and a friendly approach.

Current First Aid/CPR, NDIS Screening Card, NDIS Worker Orientation, Working With Children Check and a Drivers Licence are needed for this role.
