Being followed by a midwife made such a difference for me. The continuity of care is something you just can’t compare. Seeing the same person throughout the whole pregnancy and postnatal period builds trust and makes you feel safe.

She listened to me, gave me the strength to speak up for what I wanted, and guided me toward the right hospital care that would support my choices. Even though Karen wasn’t physically there at the birth, the preparation during pregnancy and the postnatal support made my birthing experience positive and empowering.
The hospital we chose knew Karen very well, she is clearly well respected in Perth, and you can feel that when you mention her name. That gave me even more confidence.
