Trans Awareness Week is a reminder that visibility alone isn’t enough. Safety, affirmation, and belonging are what truly protect people’s wellbeing! 🏳️‍⚧️💜

For many trans and gender-diverse people, the current political climate isn’t just conversation, it’s lived experience. The psychological toll of being debated or dismissed is real, and it shows up in anxiety, hypervigilance, and isolation.

Allyship helps to buffer that impact.
When we use someone’s name, speak up against discrimination, or build affirming spaces, we send a simple but powerful message: you’re safe here.

New blog! What is double empathy?

The Double Empathy Problem is a theory developed by autistic scholar Dr Damian Milton. It challenges the outdated idea that autistic people “lack social skills.”

Instead, it highlights that communication is a two-way street.

Ever found yourself pulling away during s*x, not because you don’t want to be there, but because it just feels… too much?

This can be a sign of sensory resistance. This is where the body protects itself from overstimulation, even in intimate or loving moments.

So how does this show up in s*xual relationships?

Inters*x Awareness Day 💛💜

Inters*x people are born with natural variations in s*x characteristics — in chromosomes, hormones, or anatomy — that do not fit typical medical definitions of “male” or “female.” These variations are a normal part of human diversity.

Despite this, many inters*x people face stigma, discrimination, and non-consensual medical interventions. Inters*x Awareness Day is an opportunity to raise visibility, affirm human rights, and centre inters*x voices.

By learning, sharing, and advocating, we can help build a world where inters*x people are respected, supported, and celebrated!

💛💜 Stand with the inters*x community today and every day.

Ace Week is a time to recognise, celebrate, and educate about the as*xual spectrum - a diverse community that includes as*xual, gray-as*xual, demis*xual, and many other identities.

Being ace is about how someone experiences (or doesn’t experience) s*xual attraction. It is not the same as celibacy, low libido, or a “phase.” People on the ace spectrum may or may not engage in s*xual or romantic relationships.

This week highlights the importance of visibility and inclusion, reminding us that attraction, behaviour, and identity do not always align neatly. By understanding the spectrum, we create space for everyone to feel seen and respected.

Join us in honouring Ace Week by learning, sharing, and supporting ace voices. 💜🖤🤍💜
