No matter how you arrive, all of you is welcome.
If you can, wear loose clothing and if not, please don’t worry. My rooms are always cosy and warm, with blankets and a heat lamp. There is privacy to remove any tight clothing and settle in comfortably on the treatment bed.
You might arrive in a rush, or at your own pace. Either way, there is time here to slow down, exhale, and gently drop into relaxation.
I’ll usually ask if you need the toilet first and yes, there is always time for this. Comfort is important, and I would much rather you take a moment to fully settle before we begin.
Eating within the 4 hours before your treatment can be supportive. Acupuncture moves Qi and Blood, which are nourished by the food we eat. Breakfast is especially helpful, as it breaks the longer overnight fast.
If you haven’t eaten, or you usually fast in the morning, that’s completely okay. I’ll simply adjust the treatment accordingly. Your pulses tell me how your Qi is on the day, so even if you don’t mention it, I’ll know how best to support you.
Your comfort and rest always come first. ✨
