AND building the capacity to hold the fear instead of being run by it.

When I began working with what was held in my body, something shifted. I wasn’t gaining more insight. I was building the ability to stay with myself in moments that used to feel overwhelming.

I could understand my patterns before but the bottom up approach helped me increase what I could safely hold and move through.

I know this might ruffle some feathers.

But “I don’t have time” is one of the most socially acceptable ways we abandon ourselves.

And I get it. We are juggling a lot. Work. Business. Kids. Life. Relationships. The mental load of all of it.

It genuinely can feel like there is no space left.

But if everything else keeps getting your time before you do, that’s not really a time problem. It’s a prioritisation problem.

This isn’t about shaming anyone. It’s about shining a light on where we could take a little more responsibility.

I tell my clients all the time, you don’t need to meditate for an hour a day. You don’t need a perfect morning routine. That’s not realistic for most of us.

But we do have pockets.

We have moments to slow our breath.
To drink our coffee without scrolling.
To sit in the car for two minutes before walking in.
To actually be in the thing we are doing.

So many of us rush from one thing to the next. And while we’re in something, we’re already thinking about the next thing.

We are rarely actually here.

And that constant override? Your nervous system feels that.

So maybe the question isn’t “Do I have time?”

Maybe it’s “Where am I willing to choose myself, even in small ways?”

There is so much noise online.

Try this.
Cut that.
This worked for me.
This is the only way.

It’s so easy to get caught up in it.
Especially as women.

I’m not saying go and double your calories or copy what I’m doing.
What works for one body won’t work for the next.

But what I’m noticing, in myself and in the women I work with, is how often we override our bodies in the pursuit of control.

We under-fuel.
We over-train.
We push harder.
Then feel frustrated when our body pushes back.

Because here’s what we often miss.

When your nervous system feels under threat, it holds on.
It conserves.
It resists.

Not because your body is broken.
But because it’s trying to protect you.

Your nervous system is shaped by how you live.
How you eat.
How you rest.
How safe your body feels.

This isn’t about a diet.

It’s about capacity.
Safety.
And learning to work with your body instead of against it.

There is a big difference.

Capacity isn’t built by pushing harder.
It’s built by giving your nervous system small, consistent experiences of safety and recovery.

We spend so much time trying to think our way through healing.
Trying to understand it. Make sense of it. Analyse it.

But words only take you so far.

At some point, you have to actually feel what’s there.
And let your body move through it.
