It took me a long time to realise that every person who came into my world was somehow part of my evolution. To help me see parts of myself that were buried or bruised. Parts of me that I knew had to rise and shine in this lifetime.

Once I really saw the perfection of it all, I realised nothing was wasted. I could then look for the gold to use every day in my service of others. The reason I now understand acceptance to replace judgement, empathy to replace sympathy, curiosity to replace dogma, wisdom to replace pain, growth to replace stagnation and ignorance.

I sit in gratitude this week as another woman finishes the Pathways To Mindfulness program with me, knowing her yet-to-be-born child gets to come into this world with an ‘Aware’ mother to guide them through life. A mother who took the time to heal wounds, grow and gain wisdom, and made the time, found the money and gathered the energy to date herself for a year through her sessions with me. She has given her child the ultimate gift… self-awareness, enabling her to choose her own path and change her bloodline.

Moments like this, I sit in gratitude that all those years ago I decided to heal wounds that would enable me to do the precious and sacred work that my soul chooses.

One person at a time. We heal, we grow, we rise. 🩵🩷

We get comfortable doing what we have always done. But is that good for our neural development? It means we use less brain energy, but it also means we don't expand neural pathways. We become more and more habitual, which at times limits our choices.

Today, drive to work a different way, park somewhere different when you go to the shops or do a different exercise routine. Maybe you could even order a different coffee or from a different coffee shop.

Today, I have to go to the shops, so I will park my car in a different spot. Be on alert, as I may be putting out an SOS to help me find it again!

I know it's good for my brain to switch it up and keep my neurons firing!

Have a great day getting lost but keeping your brain healthy! 🤣✨

The dance of life is happening every day… are you more concerned with where you are going or with being in the moment? Many of us have had programming that can only worry about the future. It's a learnt behaviour where we were on high alert by fear of all that can go wrong and often it has been driven by the need to be good enough to make heaven at any given moment.

When there is so much noise around, remember to watch if you are still driven by fear by digesting all around you or are you taking on just enough to be informed? There is a fine line of balance that only you know how much your nervous system can handle.

Be loving to yourself and know when to turn everything off and reset. You've got this.✨

Taking in the forest on International Womens Day. It’s raining so a perfect day to soak it all up. Colour time, dressing gown day, sleep-in, coffee and good company. Leaving the bed unmade ready if a nap if wanted!! Maybe the heat is behind us now and we can enjoy little blankets and hot drinks again! My senses are on fire after a night of listening to rain on a tin roof! One of my greatest joys of all time… and did I mention the smell of rain! 🙌🙏👌💞

Today, I honour all the women in whatever season or stage you are. I see you. I know that there are days you wake not knowing who you are… I've been there.

I know that there are days when you have nothing left to give.. I've been there.

I know that there are days when nothing is clear and you doubt your decisions and yourself… I’ve been there.

I know that there are days when you know you will be the topic of judgement and criticism… I’ve been there.

I know there may be many days when you ask yourself, 'What am I doing?'… I've been there.

I know there are days you have so much self-hatred, self-denial and self-abandonment… ive been there.

I know your fear of letting others you love down by making choices that align with your heart and soul… I've been there.

There's no guarantees that it won't cycle again but I do know I can now be present to it and observe my ‘why’ differently. That's my promise to myself.

To each of you, through it all, don't forget that you can have hope: as you walk YOUR journey, it can return to being effortless and wholesome if you pause and remember you are ENOUGH. The more you don't need validation outside of yourself, the more you return to loving the little girl within you unconditionally.

It's what you have been searching for.

I love you, and I thank you for not giving up on her. 🙏✨💞

Don’t forget to keep your cup full to serve others authentically. Don’t forget martyring yourself to exhaustion helps no one. It is harmful more than it’s helpful. ✨
