Located on Oxford Street in the hip suburb of Bulimba, Stephanies® Urban Spa is an oasis of luxury where you can indulge in decadent world-class spa treatments or the simple pleasures of your essential beauty needs. The spa offers 10 treatments rooms, a luxe boudoir inspired pedicure lounge and a MediSpa Suite. The MediSpa offers clients a range of advanced minimally invasive cosmetic procedures with no downtime. In addition to a decadent menu of soul pleasing treatments, Stephanies® Urban Spa boasts a retail boutique offering an extensive range of world class skincare products, unique spa gifts, organic body and gift lines and a heavenly candle selection. When Stephanie Shepherd first opened to doors of her intimate two room salon in 1994, she had no idea just where her business smarts and determination would lead her. With an undying aspiration to be the best in her field, she immersed herself in further education, all the while creating a dedicated clientele base. Realizing the thriving urban centre Oxford Street in Bulimba was soon to become,

Stephanie moved her salon and began to change the way people viewed beauty therapy. Bulimba’s larger five room salon opened in 1997 and it quickly became apparent that it was essential for Stephanie to expand her team. Going against the norm, Stephanie hired a specialist massage therapist; a profession that, at the time, was only performed in a clinical sense. This was the first big step in making Stephanie’s dream of creating an environment that rebalances mind, body and spirit a reality. It wasn’t long before Stephanie was considered amongst her peers to be a leader in the industry. With her vision for what could be always growing, she took one of the most important steps in her professional career by taking her business from a local salon to a renowned day spa. With this change in people’s mind set came with it a move of location to where Stephanie’s remains today. However it was Stephanie’s ambition to make every visit to her day spa a unique one via the use of signature treatments, rituals and unparalleled client care that sets her apart from the rest. Over the years, Stephanies Urban Spa has grown into a true Urban Spa.
