🦠 Shingles Action Week – Protect Yourself Against Shingles

Did you know that 1 in 3 Australians will develop shingles during their lifetime?

Shingles is caused by reactivation of the chickenpox virus and can lead to a painful rash, nerve pain, and long-term complications that may significantly impact quality of life.

The good news — shingles can be prevented.

A free shingles vaccine is available under the National Immunisation Program for eligible patients, including:

• Adults aged 65 years
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 years and over
• Certain immunocompromised patients

👋 Welcoming Dr Amos Goh to Bullsbrook Medical Centre

We are pleased to introduce Dr Amos Goh, who will be joining the team at Bullsbrook Medical Centre.

Dr Goh already has strong ties to the local community, and we are delighted to welcome him to Bullsbrook Medical Centre as we continue to grow and serve Bullsbrook and surrounding areas.

Dr Goh is a compassionate and thorough General Practitioner who takes a holistic, patient-centred approach to care. He is known for being attentive, thoughtful, and for taking the time to truly listen to his patients. His goal is always to create a safe, respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported in their health journey.

A graduate of the University of Tasmania, Dr Goh enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in:
• Preventative health
• Chronic disease management
• Supporting patients through all stages of life

Dr Goh values clear communication and works closely with patients to develop care plans tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing ultimate frisbee, fishing, and living a balanced, grounded life guided by strong personal values.
