I was fossicking in the bush today.The spot I usually find milky quartz.I seen some very white stone with grey veins.First thought maybe howlite.
Howlite is low on hardness not found in the area.
Checking online Marble is found in the Manjimup region it grows with quartz.
Old quarrys exisited here in the past)

Thought that was cool.
Keep fossicking never know what you may find)).
