extending a HUGE thank you to the team at - Australind and the community for your donation of cans and bottles. On Saturday the machine got a workout, putting through 3933 cans and bottles at the Return-it Bunbury Cash for Cans depot, $393.30 going straight into Morrissey's fundraising efforts.

A big thank you to Michael - a fellow can returner who helped by moving all the cans from the trailer to the machine so I could run them through, you saved me a heap of time - you are a legend!

Today we held our annual Memorial Service outside in the garden. Emma lit our memorial candle, clients and staff placed a flower in a vase while a eulogy is read for each client who passed away over the last year. A delicious afternoon tea was served with a glass of bubbly to toast "absent friends."

Do you have car batteries laying around? We are here to help you get rid of them while making a contribution to your community.

On Sunday the 16th of November we have a team of volunteers waiting to come and collect your batteries. If you have any batteries to be collected, please call the office on 97254699 to make arrangements. Alternatively, you may drop your batteries directly to our Glen Iris office 119 South Western Highway. Thank you

Never a dull moment at Morrissey. We had an unexpected visitor in the client toilet. Our evacuation drills paid off as staff and clients evacuated in an orderly fashion. Well done to all.
