🌟 Healing journey of a leg ulcer

We recently had a client with a sizable venous leg ulcer that had not been healing despite ongoing care. After a GP referral to Golden Years Community Nursing, we commenced a tailored wound management plan — and the results speak for themselves.

From 30 September to 30 November (just 8 weeks), this ulcer showed remarkable improvement. The before-and-after photos tell a powerful story of healing, reduced pain, and restored comfort.

Dont Forget !!! Protect from sneaky pressure or friction to avoid Pressure Injuries! ❤️‍🩹
It takes a few seconds to offload.. but months of pain and financial expense to heal! Nurses take the time to check your clients high risk areas for pressure!
