A Big Look at the Burnett Today

Jamie and his Support Worker visited the Quay Street Bridge to observe the conditions of the Burnett River following the recent rain and flooding. The water has since dropped significantly.

Jamie showed great interest while watching the powerful water flow and learning about how flooding can impact the local community.

During the visit, they also had a brief chat with police officers patrolling the river area and captured a few photos

Jamie also enjoyed a very productive and positive day overall. He attended choir, achieved a great bowling score of 109, and later assisted with vacuuming the Sportage and helping with refuelling. Jamie took great pride in completing these tasks and demonstrating his growing independence and life skills.

Overall, it was a wonderful day focused on community connection, skill building, and personal achievement
