With this summer shaping up to be another swelter, here’s a couple of tips to help you stay safe and comfortable in the hot weather;

1. Charge your battery earlier in the day when its cooler
2. Be mindful where you park your scooter or leave your walker, opting for nice shady spots. Metal can get super hot in just a few minutes.
3. Stay hydrated and avoid long outings during the heat of the day (12-3pm).

One month until our first U-Beach: Universal Beach ACcess Hub accessible community beach day for 2024 at Nielson-Park Beach, Bargara.

This year we have even more equipment - including new equipment specifically for children and a range of equipment to support beach walking (adapted walkers, crutches, and sticks).
