We celebrated JTβs birthday this week with a delicious cake that everyone absolutely loved! ππ
It was a wonderful moment to come together, sing happy birthday, and share in the fun β smiles all around! π₯³π

π Melbourne Cup Celebrations
This week we also celebrated Melbourne Cup Day! π©πΉ
Everyone enjoyed fun horse racingβthemed activities and friendly games throughout the day.
There were some absolutely beautiful fascinators, hats, and outfits on display β thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and put in such wonderful effort. ππβ¨

π³ Monday Outing Fun
We kicked off the week with a trip to Bundaberg Tenpin Bowling, where everyone had a fantastic time enjoying friendly games and cheering each other on! π³π
After bowling, we visited the Town Library, exploring new books and relaxing together β a lovely way to start the week. πβ¨

π³ Cooking Fun
Everyone enjoyed our cooking session this week β we made bacon and eggs with tomatoes from our very own veggie patch and onions on toast! π³π
It was a simple, delicious meal that everyone helped prepare and enjoyed together. ππ
Itβs wonderful to see participants using fresh produce theyβve grown themselves! πΏ

πΏ Gardening & Animal Care
Our Gardening Team have done a wonderful job keeping our gardens beautiful and our vegetables growing strong! π₯π»
In Animal Care, everyone has been helping to feed our pony and goats, giving them fresh water every day, and learning all the basics of daily animal care. π΄ππ§
We are so proud of how far everyone has come in learning responsibility and showing kindness through caring for our animals. πβ¨

π Massive Shout-Out to Rob!
A huge thank you to Worker Rob for his amazing fire safety teaching with our Avengers Group at the In-Town Centre this week! ππ₯
Robβs practical demonstrations and calm, clear teaching helped everyone understand how to stay safe in an emergency,and recognise the importance of fire plans.
Your dedication and enthusiasm make learning fun and meaningful for everyone β thank you, Rob, for keeping Caring Hearts safe and informed! β€οΈπ

π«Ά Personal Space & Respecting Boundaries
This week weβve been practising personal space and learning about βkeeping out of other peopleβs bubbles.β π¬π
Participants did a fantastic job understanding how to give each other space, listen, and respect boundaries β an important step in building healthy friendships and positive social skills. π

π¦ Thursday Swimming
Our swimming session on Thursday was a big hit! πββοΈβοΈ
With the weather really warming up, everyone has been loving their time in the pool.
Swimming has been wonderful for relaxation, exercise, and social time β perfect for these sunny days! ππ§

π― Friday Morning Fun & Games
We also enjoyed a friendly game of darts and pool on Friday morning. π―π±
Everyone really got into the spirit β there were lots of laughs, encouragement and some great shots!
It was a wonderful and relaxing way to start the day and a great new addition to our Friday mornings. ππ

πͺ© Friday Disco Jam Session
A big weekly highlight was our Friday Disco Jam Session in the music shed! πͺ©π€πΈ
Everyone got involved β singing, dancing, playing instruments, and having the best time.
We all enjoyed using JTβs new music machine and flashing lights, which made the disco even more exciting and colourful! π‘πΆ
The shed was full of energy, laughter and rhythm β what a fantastic way to end the week! ππΊπ΅

π Christmas Cent Sale Preparations
Our group finished wrapping Cent Sale prizes for our upcoming Caring Hearts Christmas Party & Cent Sale! πβ¨
It was such a hit β everyone was so proud of their beautifully wrapped gifts, and there were plenty of laughs when some wanted to take their favourites home early! ππ
We canβt wait for the big day β itβs going to be filled with fun, prizes, and Christmas cheer. β€οΈπ

Our Music Bingo sessions continue to be a favourite highlight of the week! πΆπ«
Weβre currently looking for donations for our Music Bingo prize box β if you have any new or unwanted items at home, weβd love to add them to our prizes.

With the heat setting in, please remember to:
