McGrath Foundation cancer care nurse Nancy Scott joined Mater People to share insights into the latest resources and support available to people in the Wide Bay community.

🧠 Advancing spine care in Central Queensland

We’re excited to introduce Mater neurosurgeons Dr Jason Papacostas and Dr Tony Tsahtsarlis, who bring extensive expertise in spine care to the Central Queensland community.

Treating conditions like nerve pain and sciatica, Dr Papacostas and Dr Tsahtsarlis are passionate about working alongside local GPs to improve patient outcomes through both conservative and surgical approaches.

They’ll be in Rockhampton for the 2025 CQ GP Conference, where they look forward to meeting local GPs and sharing insights during their spine-focused session on cervical and lumbar radiculopathy.
