Bundaberg Occupational Therapy Bundaberg Occupational Therapists treat hand & upper limb injuries.

We also treat children with developmental delay, behaviour and sensory conditions including autism. Bundaberg Occupational Therapy was established in 2008 and moved to the new premises in 2010 at 298 Bourbong Street. Our therapists are trained in the assessment and treatment of problems including:

- Hand and upper limb rehabilitation (including scar management and wound care)
- Injury prevention, treatment and management
- Paediatric developmental delays (including handwriting, toileting, school achievement and coordination)
- Behavioural and sensory issues (including ADHD and ASD)
- Neurological conditions (cerebral palsy and stroke)
- Upper limb physical rehabilitation following illness or work related injury

No specialist or GP referral is needed. If you have any queries as to whether we can help, please phone our reception or come in and ask.

Bundaberg Occupational Therapy Christmas Closure

We would like to wish you, our staff and families a happy and safe Christmas holiday.

We will close at 12 noon on the 24th December and reopen at 8 am on the 5th January.

The phones and emails will not be monitored during this closure.
Barb will be available to see clients during the closure for post-surgical treatment or emergency splinting.

Our annual Staff Christmas Party was filled with great food, plenty of creativity, and so many wonderful memories. It was the perfect way to wrap up another year of hard work.

Our Story

Established in 2008, Bundaberg Occupational Therapy provides specialised Occupational Therapy services to Bundaberg and the greater Wide Bay area. We are a well-recognised treatment facility specialising in the areas of Hand Therapy and Paediatric Therapy. Our staff have many years experience working in Bundaberg, Australia and overseas. Our aim is to provide therapy based on the latest evidence-based research, while knowing that each person is different and requires therapy to be tailored to their needs.

We treat people privately, through their health insurance, Workcover, DVA, NDIS and Chronic Disease Management Plans. No specialist or GP referral is needed. If you have any queries as to whether we can help, please phone our reception or come in and ask.
