Online or offline, bullying is never okay.

If someone’s being mean online, leaving hurtful comments, or sharing things without permission — that’s cyberbullying. And it can really hurt.

You’re never alone. Talk to someone you trust, such as a friend, carer, or support worker, or reach out to Kids Helpline (1800 55 1800) anytime.

Learn more about recognising and reporting cyberbullying from the Kanda website from our latest blog.

NDIS New Planning Framework
Big changes are on the way for the NDIS, but not just yet. The new planning framework has deferred its roll out to mid-2026 to give more time for smoother delivery and less disruption for participants.

The focus remains the same: a fairer, simpler system that’s built to last and supports people with disability today and into the future.

For now, your current NDIS plan continues as usual. We’ll keep sharing updates so you know what’s coming and when.

Have you discovered new sound effects every time you stand up… creak, crack, sigh? It might be your body’s way of saying: keep me moving.

✔️Gentle ways to keep your joints happy:
✔️Try short daily walks, even around the house or garden
✔️Gentle stretches while seated or standing
✔️Low-impact activities like recreational swimming or cycling
✔️Using mobility aids confidently — they’re tools for independence, not limits

If moving on your own is difficult, supported movement or guided physio can help keep joints flexible and ease stiffness

✨ Small, regular movement can make a big difference.

Meet Sarah, our new Service Development Manager for NSW and ACT, a people person through and through! With a deep passion for community connection, Sarah is dedicated to building relationships, strengthening networks, and creating meaningful pathways to support.

Currently focused on the Canberra, Wollongong, and Newcastle regions, she’s excited to explore how Kanda can make a lasting impact within these communities. Whether she’s meeting someone new, having a heartfelt chat, or helping break down barriers to care, Sarah brings warmth, curiosity, and purpose to everything she does.

A fun fact about you
I’m a big travel lover! My most recent adventure took me to Iceland, Finland, and Norway. The highlight was sleeping in an ice hotel at –28 degrees, it was breathtaking (and a little freezing!). Travel also gives me a fresh perspective, helping me connect with people from all walks of life.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after work?
Nothing beats quality time with my family and walking my dog. It’s the perfect way to reset and recharge.

Coffee or tea?
That’s a tough one! I need my black coffee to kick-start the morning, but as the day goes on, I love to wind down with a refreshing peppermint or green tea.

If you could work from anywhere for a day, where would it be?
Under the ocean! I love being in the water, whether it’s scuba diving or snorkeling, it’s where I feel most alive.

What’s your go-to weekend activity?
Spending time with family and friends, enjoying the beach with our dog, and watching movies together are my favourite ways to spend the weekend.
