Hands-on learning in full swing! 🛠️

Support workers Layton and Nash have been working tirelessly with participant Toby, teaching him the ins and outs of power tool safety, teamwork, and woodworking skills. 🤝

The planter boxes they’re building will be a fantastic addition to our new hub, where participants can cultivate fresh fruit and veggies and continue to grow and learn. 🍇

This project is all about growth - not just in the garden, but in the individuals themselves. 🌟

Kudos, to Layton, Nash, and Toby for their hard work and dedication! We’re incredibly proud of the progress they’re making. 🌺

Huge congratulations to W.B on crushing his senior leadership speech this morning! 🎤

W.B’s passion for content creation shone through as he delivered a captivating presentation that showcased his ambitions to be a Bundaberg Special School captain. 🤩

W.B even managed to get our Managing Director Tommy onto the big screen! 😂

W.B aims to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. As he said, he wants to “lead with courage and kindness” - a truly inspiring goal! ❤️

J.R and support worker Tommy are making the most of their time on the Gold Coast! 🌟

They’re indulging in delicious food, exploring new spots, and getting ready for an adrenaline rush at Nitro Circus tonight! 🎢

Adventures like this are all about living life to the fullest, and we’re thrilled that J.R gets to experience it in a safe and supported way. 🌺

GOAL SMASHERS ALERT! 🚀

Tank, Dynamite, and Warrior are on fire! 🔥

These three brothers have been crushing their goals and giving back to their community in a big way! 🌟

Warrior (Wade) is a huge Brisbane Broncos fan and was over the moon when they won the grand final! 🏉💥

Warrior and support worker Tommy teamed up with his brother Dynamite (Dale) and support worker Bizza to build an epic Broncos-themed football post for their backyard 🏈.

Now, the boys can play footy anytime and work on their fitness, teamwork, and passion for the game! ❤️

Meanwhile, Tank (Dean) and support worker Lenard have been cooking up a storm in the TMA hub kitchen 🍳👨‍🍳.

Their culinary creations were so delicious that they donated them to local homeless shelters in Bundaberg ❤️.

We’re beyond proud of these guys for their hard work, teamwork, and kindness. Keep shining, Tank, Dynamite, and Warrior! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new TMA Hub at 3 Takalvan Street! 🌟

This state-of-the-art space is designed to empower our participants to build on existing friendships, forge new connections, and develop meaningful relationships with our support workers. 🤝

What’s in store?

- A massive common room for group activities and socializing 🛋️
- A fully-equipped double-door work shed for hands-on learning and skill-building 🔧
- An arts and crafts room where creativity knows no bounds 🎨
- A Games Theatre for entertainment and fun 🎮
- A chill-out zone for relaxation and calm 🛋️
- A massive back yard for our participants to work on gardening skills by planting fresh fruit and vegetables and Ofcourse we will be kicking the footy 🏉
- A Fantastic Kitchen for our participants to work on there cooking and baking.🧑‍🍳

Our TMA Starlight Foundation fundraiser for 2025 has come to a close, and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve donated for the final game of the year regardless of the result! 👏

A huge shoutout to our amazing participants who stepped out of their comfort zones and joined in on the fun! 🌟

We’re beyond proud of each and every one of you for being part of this incredible cause.

The result? A fantastic total of $1,050 raised! 🎉

This money will go directly towards bringing joy and smiles to sick children in hospitals, thanks to the amazing work of the Starlight Foundation. 🌟

We’re honored to partner with Starlight Foundation and grateful for the opportunities they provide for people who require support. 🙏

Tommy and Bizza embarked on an epic camping adventure to Miara with W.B, T.J, and B.C! 🎉

We’ve been working with the boys to develop Essential life skills, Respect towards others, Fostering positive relationships, and encouraging them to be role models in their school and community. 🌟

This weekend, they experienced the great outdoors and participated in new activities like:

🏕️ Building campsites
🔥 Fire safety
🏍️ Dirt biking
🎣 Fishing
🏊‍♂️ Swimming
+ So Much More!

The bond between the boys is growing stronger every day, and we’re excited to see them learn and thrive as a team! 💪

This experience will empower them moving forward with confidence and a love for trying new things. 🌺

With the support of Maddy and Hiedi, Z.L’s been working on his social skills and strengthening friendships at school through our afternoon social groups at the hub. 🤝

But that’s not all - Z.L’s also been mastering the art of cooking! 🍰
Last week, he whipped up some delicious cupcakes with Hiedi that everyone loved. 👌

What really warms our hearts is Z.L’s kind and respectful approach to others. He makes everyone feel comfortable and is always willing to make a new friend. 🤗

At TMA Disability Support Services and TMA Lawn and Maintenance, we thrive on empowering individuals to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. 🤝

Take Will, for example. After just six weeks with TMA Lawn & Maintenance, Will has exceeded all expectations! 💥

He's mastered the whipper snipper, blow vac, push mower, and ride-on mower. But the real triumph came today when Will faced his fears and conquered a long-standing barrier: loading and unloading the ride-on mower from the trailer. 💪

With Tommy's support, Will's newfound confidence and independence are truly inspiring. It's a testament to the power of perseverance and the right mindset. 🌟

At TMA, we believe that overcoming barriers is a daily journey, and every small win is a step towards growth, belonging, and confidence. 🌟
