Are you happy with your current Support at Home Provider (formerly called a Home Care Package)
If you’re not happy you are allowed to change and it’s much simpler than many people realise. Your Support at Home Package belongs to you, not the provider. You get to choose who supports you.
Right at Home Goldfields Grampians Murray can guide you through the whole process with kindness and clarity.

🌟 Why People Change Providers
Many older Australians decide to move to a new provider because of:
• Slow or unclear communication
• High or hidden fees
• Not enough care hours
• Different staff every visit
• Not feeling understood or respected
• Wanting more services, like nursing or dementia support
You deserve care that feels right for you.
✔️ How to Change Providers (Simple Steps)
1. Check your current agreement. Look for notice periods or exit fees.
2. Tell your current provider you’re leaving. Most need 14 days’ notice.
3. Get your “Support at Home” referral code from My Aged Care. Our team can assist with making this call. Don’t stress about having to do this alone. This code lets your new provider take over your Support at Home Package.
4. Choose your new provider. You can call us and we’ll help you.
5. Sign your new agreement. Once signed, we can start organising your care.
6. Your unspent funds move with you. Your old provider must transfer your remaining funds.
Right at Home can usually have you fully switched over within two weeks.
🧡 Questions to Ask a New Provider

At Right at Home Goldfields Grampians Murray, the answer to all of these is YES.
