✨ I See You, Mum. I Was You. ✨**
Today, I sat with a mum who is doing *everything* she can… and feeling like it’s still not enough.
She’s exhausted — bone-deep, soul-tired.
She’s fierce and proud… but worn down from the fight.
She’s lost in the chaos of parenting a child with special needs.
And I saw her. I *heard* her.
Because I’ve been her.
I don’t share this lightly, but I think it’s time.
For 12 years, I was a solo mum to two brilliant, complex, beautiful girls.
One with ADHD and an intellectual disability. The other with medical and mental health needs that shaped every part of our lives.
I worked full-time in the care industry. I had little support.
I battled with my identity, my health, my sanity.
Most days were a blur of meltdowns, missed school, bruised hearts, and survival mode.
💥 I know what it’s like to be hit by your 8-year-old who doesn’t yet have a diagnosis.
💥 To feel terrified and guilty for wanting — just for a moment — a bloody break.
💥 To wrestle with your worth while trying to hold everyone else together.
And I made it through.
Not perfectly. Not painlessly. But I *did*.
That’s why I do what I do now.
Because mums like you — strong, burnt out, brilliant — deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.
🌿 So this is the start of something.
A campaign. A community. A voice.
For the mums who are hanging on.
For the mums who feel invisible.
For the mums who *need* to hear:
**YOU ARE WORTHY OF GOOD THINGS.**
**YOU ARE NOT ALONE.**
**WE CAN GET THROUGH THIS — TOGETHER.**
Big love to all the warrior mums out there. 💛
You’ve got this. And I’ve got you.
