This week I was able to speak on a podcast about my injury, and how I very nearly took my own life. Yes I was suicidal and I got to the end chapter. I never went through and killed myself, otherwise I would not be here to help other. Something stopped me that day, I don't know why as I had planned out the tree the speed and time. But why did I get to that point? What caused it and what I did to turn myself around.

Having been the one looking down the barrel at one point in my life. I think that it's important that we all know its not bad to reach out.

At this moment in time I am assisting 2 people whom have contacted me for help and guidance. These people are strangers to me. Although I am no professional and nor do I ever profess to be. Just being that person who wants to listen, not judge and to give a few helping hands along the way. Speak up and speak out.

I have some spaces left for talks about what happens after an injury in the work place. Maybe your part of a group or whether people at work need that push to be safe and to look after each other. Lets book it in.

Please like, love laugh all you can. Share this about. Knocked on the head is a small business starting out. It needs all the people to share and get your safety representatives on board.

I am having a really bad time with my neck and arms at the moment. I just can't seem to get over the pain.

Your health is important, the health of those you work with is sometimes in your hands.

Knocked on the head will come to your workplace and talk about what an industrial injury does to your life. The impact it has on your whole family and friends. Don't let it be you to have the next injury.

Yesterday Luke and I installed some little lights to our tinny. We want to try night fishing.... But think with these beauties it might be daylight even at night time.
One thing is for sure - think we are going to need a bigger battery!!!

Why have we done this? Safety is important. Been able to see where you are going. We just worked out that we needed that extra lighting for moving about. Hitting a sandbank / rocks would be so painful - even at low speeds.

Need someone to talk about safety and it's impact on you becoming injured. You need to listen to my talk - I will give an insight to what it's like to be disabled and having no physical problem. The pain and torture you deffo don't need.
The only torture you do need is a fish snapping off your line!

Give me a call 0415818389 or email knockedonthehead@gmail.com for further details.

It was a Freekish Accident - However it Happened

A steel bar fell from a height of 5 metres above my head - The bar only weighed 1kg.

It left Paul with life changing injuries - He cant open bottles of water - he cant do his job anymore - He even struggles to drive over short distances.

Although he desperately wants to do all the fun stuff with the family - Play the big part of being an adult but having that special time with the kids. Paul pays the price, for just doing a simple thing of catching a ball or just rough play can lead to days in pain. Even though he is on a huge amount of opiod drugs Pauls pain is as severe as his arms being ripped off with no anaesthetic, Imagine that pain that he feels . But instead of letting the pain lead Paul, He fights it as much as he can to get the best out of life.

Why not have Paul come to your site to give his story - It will change the way people work when on building sites / working at heights / just a place where people are working - This accident should never of happened, but it did. Lets STOP any future ones
