Residents at Regents Garden Bateman recently enjoyed a delicious takeaway luncheon from Wok in A Box! 🍜🥢 The lunchtime treat brought everyone together in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Residents savoured a variety of flavours, from classic stir-fries to tasty noodle dishes, while chatting and enjoying each other’s company. The aroma of freshly prepared meals filled the dining area, making the afternoon even more enjoyable. The festive spirit was alive and well at as from the local church visited to spread some cheer. The volunteers delighted our residents by singing a selection of , filling the room with joyful music that had everyone tapping their feet and singing along. After the singing, everyone gathered to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. Residents and volunteers shared conversations, laughter, and stories, making the afternoon feel warm and full of connection. The interactions were heartwarming, with residents enjoying the opportunity to meet new faces and catch up with familiar friends. It was a truly lovely morning as our residents and the playgroup children gathered in the Atrium for a special celebration. The space buzzed with excitement as little ones arrived with bright smiles, ready to meet and share the festive spirit with our residents. Everyone joined in singing , filling the Atrium with joyful voices and laughter. The children happily mingled with the residents, creating beautiful moments of connection across generations. To make the day even more magical, one of our very own residents dressed up as Santa 🎅, delighting the children as they eagerly took turns greeting Santa. Residents who were celebrating their special day were delighted to receive beautiful flowers from Ted, who kindly sourced them from his family business, Balshaw’s Florist. The thoughtful gesture brought big smiles and added a personal touch to the celebrations, making each birthday feel truly special. Afterwards, all residents gathered in the Piano Lounge to enjoy a delicious birthday cake during afternoon tea. Wednesday was bursting with excitement as our residents dove into a lively Bingo battle! Each round brought cheers, playful teasing, and plenty of good-natured suspense. Fabulous prizes were up for grabs, which made the stakes even higher. Laughter echoed through the room as residents celebrated their wins or joked about being “one number away… again!”

What made the day truly special wasn’t just the prizes but the joy of being together. Conversations flowed, friendships blossomed, and the energy lifted everyone’s spirits. The Lolly Trolley has arrived at Regents Garden— straight out of Hogwarts Express! Our residents eagerly queued up (no spell-work required) to pick their favourite treats. Sweet surprises galore brought big smiles and laughter. It’s safe to say the trolley spread more magic than any wand could, proving once again that a little sugar and a lot of joy go hand in hand.
