We enjoyed such a wonderful evening at the Rotary Club of Burwood Changeover event last month! Eurella Community Services is extremely grateful to have received a generous $2,000 donation, to purchase furniture for our outdoor spaces. This donation will help us create comfortable and welcoming outdoor areas where the people we support can relax, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with each other and with nature. Every time I attend an event at Eurella Community Services I end up getting teary - tears of joy, happiness, inspiration and sometimes I tear up because I sense the frustration of families who have fought so hard for their loved ones.

The community at Eurella was built 70 years ago by a group of local families who wanted to ensure their children with disabilities had a bright future.

70 years later, their legacy of love lives on.

Led by the incredible Patricia Abraham - the staff and families at Eurella are a constant reminder that a small group of committed people can make an extraordinary difference to people's lives.

What a joy to celebrate 70 years of Eurella.

A few days ago the Business Service team welcomed 5 students from Auburn Girls High School and this image is of Francis showing the girls one of her favourite jobs which is counting out vitals and re-packaging them into individual packages.

Francis was so welcoming, patient and a great teacher.

It's the start of the week so Eurella would like to kick it off with some huge news. It's the return of one of our favourite ventures here at Eurella.

Speak of What You Love.

SOWYL is a creative infused project that comes to life through the clients. There will be four work shops commencing in just a matter of weeks and these work shops will feature the clients honing their creative skills to then display later on this year.

As I said, we are beyond excited to bring this back once again and cannot wait until the finished article.

More details will be out soon. Stay tuned. It's truly worth it.
