Groovability Festival- International Day of People with Disability

Groovability Festival- International Day of People with Disability Join us in celebrating International Day of People with Disability! The day will involve entertainme Groovability is a whole of the Inner West community event.

International Day is about being included and celebrating the abilities, achievements and contributions made by people with disability

The UN theme for 2013 is; “Break barriers and open doors: to realise an inclusive society for all” We want to highlight the progress made towards building an inclusive society, and also raise public awareness to remove the barriers that still exist. Now in its 3rd year it is a unique collaboration between government, business and community in the Inner West. Groovability is basically about modelling inclusion and involvement. Its a celebration of the diversity of the Inner West community as we share and learn from each other and a day to try something new. It is also a time for celebrating your own unique abilities, being in sync (groove) with yourself and talents – Groovability.
