Farewell & Thank You 🥹

As we reach the end of the week, we say a heartfelt farewell to Dr Alan Lim and Dr David Lynch, who will be finishing up with us on Friday.

While we shared previously that they would be moving on, we’d like to once again express our gratitude for the care, dedication, and compassion they’ve shown our patients and community. They’ve each made a wonderful impact during their time with us and they will be truly missed by our team and everyone they’ve supported.

🌟 Welcome Dr Katelyn Edis! 🌟

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Katelyn Edis, who will be joining the GBGP team next week.

Dr Edis is a locally trained doctor who completed her medical degree at UWA in 2022 and has since worked across Busselton, Margaret River and Bunbury hospitals. She has experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, emergency medicine, surgery and anaesthetics, and is currently completing her Diploma of Child Health.

Dr Edis enjoys caring for patients of all ages and will be available Monday to Friday.

Today, after many years of dedicated service we are saying a fond farewell to Nurse Moy, as she begins her well deserved retirement.

Her compassion, professionalism and unwavering care have touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues over the years. She has been a valued and much loved member of our team and although we will miss her presence, we know she certainly won't miss battling with technology and dreaded computers every day! 😉

We hope everyone enjoyed the festive season! Unfortunately, while the decorations are packed away, the winter bugs didn’t get the memo. A number of our doctors are currently unwell, which means we’re experiencing a backlog of appointments and limited availability.

We know this can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this. Our team is doing everything possible to get back on track and care for you as soon as we can.

Important Update for Our Patients

Starting 5th January 2026, we will be introducing a new system for treatment room fees.

Please note:
✅ There will now be an out-of-pocket cost for all patients when using the treatment room. This also applies to concession card holders.
✅ This change helps us continue providing high-quality care and maintain essential services
