Embrace @ Telethon Kids Institute is the research collaboration devoted to the mental health of children and young people ages 0-25. Together with their partners, researchers at Embrace want to make a difference to the lives of children and young people who experience mental health challenges.

If you are between 14-25, or parents/caregivers supporting children and young people (0-25) with behavioural, emotional and/or mental health concerns, and all professionals working in child/youth mental health (including but not limited to clinicians, youth workers, administrators, policy makers) we encourage you to take part in the survey.

Research is so important to identify gaps and needs so that we can provide adequate servicing. Make sure your opinions are heard by following the link below and filling in the survey.

Telethon Kids Institute researchers need your help to identify the top priorities for future child and youth mental health research. Complete our short (10 minute) survey to share your thoughts on mental health topics, including causes, diagnosis, treatment, management and navigating the mental health care system.

Your feedback will help guide areas of focus for future research priorities at Telethon Kids Institute.

Our Story

GP down south is piloting a new Parenting Program in the South West. Funded by WACHS the new program spans the regions of Bunbury/Harvey, Leschenault, Wellington, Naturaliste, and Warren Blackwood.

The Parenting Program is a new service aimed at providing parenting support to families. A key objective of the program is to enable children aged 0-5 years (birth to school entry) to successfully achieve all significant health and developmental milestones and be ready for school.

The parenting support team will work with families to help them achieve the best outcome for their children. For more information call 9754 3662.
