GRATITUDE π (see challenge at end of post)
Today I am grateful for all the blessings in my life π§
I am grateful for all the bonding time and the memories made with lee and Peyton whilst being in isolation - Every cloud has a silver lining βοΈ
Today I am grateful for finally being able to leave my house after isolation, to take the dog for 2 walks - we have one very happy dog now βΊοΈ
WHAT ARE YOU GRATEFUL FOR TODAY π
Gratitude is ......
stopping and taking a moment to just appreciate all the good in our lives - the things we often take for granted
Examples - having a place to live, having food , clean water, friends, family, technology.
Gratitude is important to practice and can be very valuable especially when we are going through tough times , when s**t feels very overwhelming.
Taking time to reflect on the good things can show us just how blessed we are.
How does it work?
Gratitude is very good for our brain
When we express gratitude and receive the same, our brain releases dopamine and serotonin, the two crucial neurotransmitters responsible for our emotions, and they make us feel βgoodβ. They enhance our mood immediately, making us feel happy from the inside.
The more you practice gratitude the better you feel mentally .
Did you know it takes at least 21 days to form a new habit.
MY CHALLENGE TO YOU IS ......
For the next 21 days, Every morning and/or every night write down three things you are grateful for.
See for yourself how it can change your life.
Let me know how you go π₯°
