🌿 Gratitude for Lotus Palliative Care - A Testimonial 🌿
I have so, so much gratitude and respect for Lulu and her team at Lotus Palliative Care! Our beloved Elder had made sure we all knew his heartfelt wish was to spend his last days in his own Home, overlooking his favourite valley view.
When his health deteriorated rapidly and we were in the midst of hospital chaos meeting Lulu was a godsend. Lulu was sensitive, heartwarming and brilliantly practical. Lulu helped guide us through what could be possible and truly connected directly with our Elder to ensure he felt seen and included – such an important detail. Very importantly, Lulu helped us navigate the complexity of getting out of the hospital confusion and ensuring that we could have our beloved Elder at Home for his end of life palliative care. I truly feel that having Lulu there on the end of the phone to check in with was a lifeline.
Once we made it Home and the overwhelm of what now we had taken on was immediately improved as we met the first members of the Lotus Palliative Care team with their sensitive, caring and professional approach. Because of the complexity of our Elder’s situation we chose to have the team with us consistently until the end and it was so worth the financial investment to have such peace of mind.
I don’t know how I would have coped without their help. Knowing that all times there was a caring, present and professional person with our Elder meant that I could truly get some rest, take care of others in the family and therefore able to spend quality time with our Elder too. It was so comforting to have the reassurance from the Lotus team at the different stages of the death process, this was such great help. The gentle, caring, compassionate and professional support throughout the entire process has been such a gift.
I highly recommend their service – I cant find the words to express it as heartfully as would I wish to – how important and helpful it was to have their support!
