✨ Creating Joy, One Day Out at a Time ✨

Today we had the pleasure of taking two of our wonderful participants to Dopamine Land Play Centre in Brisbane, and it turned into one of those days that truly fills your heart.

From big smiles to excited laughter, the joy was contagious. Seeing our participants explore, play, and feel completely free in such a colourful, sensory-filled space was nothing short of beautiful. And yes one of our amazing support workers may have enjoyed the play centre just as much.

At Warm Embrace Support Services, moments like these remind us why we do what we do to create connection, confidence, and experiences that brighten someone’s world. 💛

🌿 Meaningful Moments in the Garden 🌿

Today our team spent some time supporting one of our participants with a garden clean up behind the shed and it looks fantastic! 🌸

We even found a lovely pot at home that was perfect for their plant, so we helped repot two plants together.

It was wonderful to see their pride as they gave the plants a good watering and admired their work. These small moments of connection and accomplishment are what it’s all about. ❤️

☀️🌊 Fun in the Sun at Bribie Island! 🎣⚽🍔🚣🏖️

What an incredible day we had with our Participants Event today! The sun was shining, the BBQ was sizzling, and the laughter was non-stop. From fishing off the shore, kayaking through the water, building epic sand castles on the beach, kicking the soccer ball around, to playing games and sharing a yummy BBQ today was all about smiles, friendships, and creating memories together. 💛

Warm Embrace Night Out!

🌟 This Week at Warm Embrace 🌟

What a jam-packed and joy-filled week it’s been with our incredible participants!

🍴 John kicked things off by helping cook up a delicious lunch chicken, cheese, and basil pesto pasta. He absolutely loved his meal! Later, we headed out for a peaceful brunch at Woody Point with his loyal pup Snoopy by his side such a wholesome outing.

🛍️ On another adventure, we made a quick pit stop at the Treasure Market before heading to Aussie World… and wow, what a phenomenal day it turned out to be! 🚗 We were treated to a surprise car show out front with some absolute beauties on display.

🎢 Inside Aussie World, we explored the illusionarium, had a laugh over mini golf, and got thrashed and spun around on the roller coasters, dodgems, and more! We definitely got our steps in – and our laughs too!

👨‍🍳 Meanwhile, this afternoon’s shift was all about life skills and family connection. Young Liam rolled up his sleeves and cooked dinner for his family like a pro! Together we whipped up a tasty chicken and potato bake. While it cooked, we kicked back with some board games and had a relaxed finish to a productive day.

💛 These moments are what we’re all about connection, growth, and good old-fashioned fun. We’re so proud of each and every one of our participants and the amazing things they do every day.

🐨 A Day to Remember at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary! 🌿

At Warm Embrace, it’s all about creating meaningful moments and our recent excursion to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary at Fig Tree Pocket was exactly that! 💚

One of our amazing participants had the opportunity to get up close with Australia’s most iconic wildlife, from cuddly koalas and curious kangaroos to colourful birds and fascinating reptiles. 🐾✨

These outings are more than just a day out they’re about confidence-building, joy, inclusion, and living life to the fullest with the right support. Whether it’s wildlife adventures, creative activities, or relaxed community outings, we tailor our support to each person’s goals and passions.

🌟 Supporting Our Local Heroes: Nourish Street Inc & Northwest Community Group Inc 🌟

We were honoured to drop off another round of donations this week to two amazing community organisations doing life-changing work:

🧡 Nourish Street Inc – Their tireless efforts to provide food, care packs, and support to those in need never go unnoticed.

💙 Northwest Community Group Inc. – Always stepping up for families and individuals doing it tough, with practical help and a heart of gold.

This time, alongside the food, warm items, and essentials, we also included extra items to be raffled off to help raise additional funds and support for their causes. We're proud to stand with them and help however we can.

🎉🎬 Our Free Movie Day Was a Hit! 🍿💙

What an EPIC time we had at Limelight Cinemas Morayfield for our Free Movie Event – Lilo & Stitch on the big screen, popcorn in hand, and so many smiling faces! 🌈✨

Warm Embrace Support Services is excited to offer FREE group community access sessions for local NDIS participants in the Caboolture and Morayfield area!
Join us every Monday & Wednesday from 10am to 2pm, for a fun-filled time of board games, creativity, connection, and laughter – all at no cost to you!
Whether you love rolling dice, painting your masterpiece, or just making new friends – this is for you!

The free sessions are limited to one session per week per participant

🌟 Another Beautiful Donation Delivered to Nourish Street Inc! 🌟

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve completed another donation drop-off to the wonderful team at Nourish Street Inc, who do truly life-changing work for those experiencing hardship across Brisbane’s Northside. 💛

This time, with winter well and truly here, we focused on gathering and delivering items that can bring real comfort, warmth, and protection. Our donation included cosy blankets, beanie, scarf and glove sets, emergency ponchos, tarps, and plenty of food to help fill hungry bellies and provide some shelter from the cold and wet nights.

Every single item makes a difference — and we’re so grateful to everyone who has helped make this possible. Your kindness brings hope and dignity to people doing it tough, and together we are building a stronger, more compassionate community.
