Have you been curious about Kundalini Yoga?

It’s been coming onto the radar more lately, and for very good reason. For years it remained relatively quiet, but now research and lived experience are revealing what it truly is, a precise system for working directly with the nervous and glandular systems.

Kundalini Yoga is a practice for elevation, an energetic recalibration and a biological biohacking system using breath, rhythm, posture and sound.

It restores the human system to coherence and capacity, a self-management practice that shifts you out of autopilot and back into conscious participation in your life.

When Cheryl and Leanne first walked into the studio, they came as clients. I remember thinking quietly to myself, there is joy here and I even said it to them at the time, I could feel it, and there has been.

What began as women attending class has unfolded into something much more meaningful. Now we sit side by side in Heart Resonance, holding space together, sharing something that has grown naturally and beautifully over time.

This is what I love about women, when we just allow each other to grow, when we don’t compete or shrink, when we genuinely want one another to follow what feels true in the heart, life becomes lighter and richer, there is more space for joy. ✨

We really can make it better for each other, we can amplify each other’s confidence, creativity, and courage just by being willing to celebrate one another.

I’m deeply grateful for the women who walk in as strangers and stay as something much deeper. 🙏🏻🌿

I’ve decided to open The Field of the Nervous System as a free workshop this weekend at Studio Avasa, Freshwater. This work feels too important to sit behind a price barrier right now.

If you’ve been curious about how your nervous system shapes your capacity, your relationships, your decisions, and the life you’re building, come and learn. This is a grounded, informative space to better understand how your system operates and how that influences the way you live.

When we’re starting something new, there’s often an undercurrent of effort in the body, jaw clenched, shoulders lifted, belly held. 🌿

Even with good intentions, this tension can make it hard for the breath to shift.

This week’s Breath Note is simple: soften first.

Before you try to breathe more deeply or slowly, notice where you’re gripping. Gently soften the jaw and let the shoulders drop. Allow the belly to be easy, and let the breath respond on its own.

This small shift helps the nervous system feel safer with change, and from there, new habits have somewhere to land.

The Breath Class is a weekly space to practise breath awareness and nervous system supportive breathing, and to learn simple ways to support yourself while things are new.

Last week was simple: one minute of breath awareness, sitting quietly and gently noticing your breathing. 🌿

This week we add one small shift: lengthen the exhale.

A longer exhale is one of the most direct ways to help the nervous system soften out of urgency. It creates space inside the body, so you can meet change with more steadiness and less pressure.

Try it for one minute:
Inhale through the nose, and gently lengthen the exhale through the nose. Let the shoulders soften.

New: HEART RESONANCE Sound Relaxation

Heart Resonance is a sound relaxation experience, a space to lie down, rest, and unwind. This session brings together, the depth of the gong and the healing tones of crystal sound bowls

You’ll be lying down in stillness while the sound supports the body to release tension and settle internal noise.

The nervous system shapes how you experience life. Not just your stress levels, but your energy, your motivation, your relationships, your ability to make decisions, and your capacity to follow through on change.

A lot of women are trying to move forward, create something new, or live differently, but they’re doing it from a system that’s exhausted, overstimulated, or stuck in survival. When that’s the baseline you’re living from, even simple things can feel heavy and a lot to ask.

The nervous system responds before we think, because its first response is to read safety and threat. It decides whether we mobilise, shut down, or stay steady, long before logic gets a say. That’s why willpower doesn’t always work, why motivation disappears, and why we can feel overwhelmed even when nothing really big is happening.

This is why I’m running The Field of the Nervous System, a three-hour workshop to help you understand the system you’re living from, so change can feel like it happens easier rather than feeling forced.

FEBRUARY - INSIGHT

January was about grounding, building a steady foundation in the body and nervous system, February is for making space.

As routines return and life becomes fuller again, this month focuses on reducing internal noise so insight can arise naturally.

Not through overthinking, but through making space, enough space to see and feel clearer.

This February we’ll work with practices that support the body’s elimination pathways and restore clean internal flow. When the system is less congested, energy moves more efficiently. The mind becomes quieter, and it becomes easier to recognise what is true.

Insight isn’t always about adding something new, often it’s the moment you realise you’ve been living a certain way out of habit, expectation, or survival, and you begin to ask a more honest question: Is this the way I want to continue?

Or is there another way to do this that feels more aligned with who I am now?
