Many people are trying to think their way into peace while their body is still braced.

When the nervous system has been under pressure for a long time, the body begins to hold tension almost automatically. The breath shortens, the muscles stay engaged, and the mind works harder to keep everything together.

The shift most people are looking for doesn’t begin in the mind, it begins in the body.

The Spacious Body is an afternoon designed to gently begin to unwind those patterns and nourish the nervous system through Kundalini Yoga, steady breath practices, meditation, and extended rest. As the body softens, the mind often follows. 🌿🙏🏻

Prosperity requires a system that can tolerate expansion. 🌿

Many people can imagine a bigger life. They can sense the possibilities, picture the direction they want to move in, and feel the pull toward something more, and sometimes holding that vision is often where the challenge begins.

When the nervous system has been living under pressure for a long time, even positive change can feel overwhelming. The mind may see the possibility, but the body reads the implications, responsibility, visibility, risk, change and instead of opening, the system tightens.

So the vision becomes difficult to hold and before life can expand, the body has to feel safe enough to carry that level of possibility.

Practices that strengthen and nourish the nervous system matter. Breath, movement, and meditation are not just for relaxation, they help the system develop the capacity to remain open to a larger life.

Over time, consistent practice begins to shift the baseline of the nervous system, and what once felt overwhelming gradually becomes manageable, and what once felt impossible begins to feel natural.

Prosperity, in many ways, begins with capacity.

In the coming weeks I’ll be introducing a new offering that explores this more deeply through the technology of Kundalini Yoga, a structured approach to strengthening the nervous system, aligning one’s energy and attention, and cultivating the internal conditions that support prosperity, financial wellbeing, and a more sustainable relationship with life. 🌿

Each session draws on the technology of Kundalini Yoga, specific, time-tested sequences that work with the nervous system and glandular system. The structure of the practice supports the body and mind to unwind, regulate, and complete the day.

With consistent practice, tension softens, mental activity settles, and the system learns to shift more easily into rest.🌿

When I speak about capacity, I am not referring to taking on more or increasing the pressure you already live with. I am speaking about holding your life in a way that is harmonised.

When the nervous system is organised and the endocrine system is supported, the body does not default to urgency or bracing at the first sign of demand. Instead, stress chemistry stabilises, internal rhythm returns, and there is space inside your experience.

From that space, you can move, create, and decide from alignment rather than reaction.

This month’s glandular practices are designed to support restoring that internal rhythm, not to increase your demands, but to help you hold what is already yours in a way that leaves room to breathe and consider what truly works for you. 🌿

Thursday nights are an invitation to slow everything down. This sound relaxation is a shared offering with Cheryl from The Shade Tree, bringing together the depth of the gong and the healing tones of crystal sound bowls.

We’ll begin with gentle pranayama to help the body arrive and the nervous system soften, before settling into an extended sound journey. The evening will close with mantra to support grounding and re-orientation, allowing the effects of sound to land and the system to return to a more natural internal rhythm.

The Spacious Body 🌿

For tired nerves and bodies that haven’t exhaled in a while.

A spacious body allows for a spacious mind. When the nervous system has been carrying tension for a long time, the body tightens and the mind follows, thoughts speed up, decisions feel heavier, and even rest can feel out of reach. Often this happens when we’ve been living mostly in our heads while the body stays braced beneath us.

This afternoon is designed to gently loosen that pattern.

Over three hours, we’ll move through accessible Kundalini Yoga, steady breath practices, meditation, and extended rest. The session draws on the somatic foundations of Kundalini Yoga, working through sensation and breath so the nervous system can settle from the inside out.

The pace is unhurried and supportive, allowing the body to soften gradually without being pushed. As the body unwinds, the mind has room to settle and create space.

There will be tea and time at the end so no one needs to rush away.
