Mr T and Grace had an amazing time at Abba concert last night. Blonde wig looks amazing and transforms Mr T into Agnetha and Grace's wig does a good impersonation of Anni-Frid. We are delighted to support our participants in enjoying their best lives.

What a week it's been, we were asked to provide emergency supports to a vulnerable person and now we need to find the right team members for ongoing supports. We are looking to recruit the right support staff for Mareeba and Cairns. Long shifts available. You must have all of the usual NDIS clearances and experience as a support worker. I wonder who's enjoying it more? We are spending the weekend decorating our beautiful home in Mareeba. These two gentlemen requested that we go and see all the Halloween decorations and we decorate their home. Your wish is our command.

Once again we are supporting the Christmas Appeal initiated by Fall Foward. Each year we contribute to this and Hambledon House Community Centre appeal supported by the lovely Una Hicks Stewart at Pinnacle Support Coordination & Services.
As a child, I was consistantly hungry and reliant on family friends for food and clothes. My Mum worked, but we were a family of Mum and 4 children.
I know only too well the indignity of food poverty. How are we still having this conversation and there still be a need for this in 2025?

We accept non-perishable food items, toiletries, clothes and toys. These donated items will go to vulnerable families in our local community.

As we continue to expand into the Tablelands, we are looking to work with experienced support workers with clear understanding of manual handling, mealtime and medication management but most importantly, ensure that all of our participants are respected and that you are a team player who wants to thrive in this sometimes complex world of NDIS. Come one, come all to our amazing expo right here in Cairns, tomorrow!
We have been working hard to make this the best yet, and hope to see you tomorrow!
Bringing together more than 120 local providers of employment information, direct supports, allied health therapies, support services, government services, equipment, NDIS Support Coordination, Plan Management and more.
Lots of information, giveaways, a free BBQ and a Scavenger Hunt with prizes to win.
The aim of the expo is to increase awareness of supports, services and resources for people living with disability, their families and carers, within the Cairns and FNQ region.
Thank you to the wonderful volunteer committee for your hard work and dedication to bring this event to fruition for our region.
